Contains 100 high quality, custom created percussion loops. Created and processed at 96kHz/32bit, saved at 44.1kHz/24bit.

One of my most craved type of loops are good, moving and layered percussion loops. My biggest pet peeve is when I find a loop that is tagged 'perc', it's just a bongo going tap-tap-tap-tap - nnnuuuuuu. What I want is something really organic and "driving" that helps the rhythm. So I set out to create this custom set of 100 loops that fit into that category.

These began as LoFi loops, when a friend of mine suggested that he actually needs some sparse "found" percussion loops that go into the 60-90bpm range - I myself work mainly in the 126 range so for science, I morphed my parameters a little and sped up the tempo. What I got was surprisingly good, so I thought I'd share them here as well. The 120bpm package is the original one (though downsampled, which doesn't really matter in this frequency domain), the other tempo variations are created from those samples (mentioning it just in case you want maximum quality).

Each loop has an ending fill, so if you want a steady percussion, just use the first half - the fill is there to just add a good transitional without rendering it separately. Each one is specifically created for this pack, so these samples do not exist anywhere else (ie. they are not copied from another sample pack and just slammed into this one).
